- Recently
assisted an industry leading multinational business, with multiple
locations worldwide, with month end procedures including various complex
financial reports.
- Started
own tax preparation and bookkeeping business in 2005; became CPA in
2006.
- Member
of team that produced multi-million dollar tax development project while
working at a Big 5 accounting firm’s global technology center in Sarasota, Florida.
- Prepared taxes for largest local firm
in Sarasota,
and conducted field audit work at various nongovernmental nonprofit
organizations in the area.
- Assistant
controller for large commercial construction company in Tampa, Florida.
- Assisted
in 401(k) administration for over 200 participants with multiple
investment options, and assisted with State of Illinois
IDPA audits, while at a local accounting firm in Salem in the late
1990s.
- Began
accounting career in 1991 as an accounting clerk for an accounting
franchise.
- Graduated
University
of South Florida
(accounting) with a perfect final cumulative GPA of 4.00 / 4.00; also
elected President of USF Accounting Society.
- Graduated
Florida State University
(multinational business operations and marketing; dual major) with a
perfect final cumulative GPA of 4.00 / 4.00; member of Honors and
Scholars Council, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Golden Key.
